Twas the night before Wintersday has been added to the stories section of the Fanart. It was originally written in our forums in December 2006, but Zman decided to share it with all of you. However he is VERY proud of his poem, so you better not even think about stealing his hard work, that wouldn't be cool.

A few of you might have noticed the smaller navigation bar. Over time, pages pilled up whenever someone had a new idea for site's content, but we realised the three pages about members of the Alliance were unnecessary and could easily be fusionned into a single page. There are no links inside the current Alliance page thought, I'll add them when the Guild pages are complete, meaning when I'm done updating the HHN one and if the other leaders ever make theirs. From now on, instead of nagging the leaders for screenshots of their rosters, I'll just send them a notepad file and let them fill it, so they'll be free to update whenever they feel like it and all I'll have to do is copy-paste into the HTML files. Sounds easy enough? I'll find out if that works later.

As a minor update, I changed the links color to pale gray. It'll be the new default link color so that you can actually make the difference between links and green text. I might change the color of links for custom pages (fanart, album, guilds...), but only if it's requested.

The Ascalon Saga is not dead yet, but we have other matters to worry about, so there will be new chapters, I just cannot say when.

Some graphical data might become glitchy over the site from now on. I've been moving files around a lot for the upcoming changes, so I might miss a few bits here and there. If you spot any missing images or other glitches, please tell me so that I can fix them. Thank you.

Katharos: Personally, I thought we were supposed to draw a concept based on Grenth, not on Abaddon. Also, even if in the rules it's clearly written to just get to the point and draw only the hat, apparently the Photoshop junkies won the prizes. I'm just more confused now.

Zman: It's so bad I quit Guild Wars.

Mid-week update. Again.

I'm afraid I don't have any real updates. I spent the few last days putting order in pictures for the albums and upload them into the site. I have over 100 pictures only for Zman's album and I only have dial-up... maybe you can understand the delay.

I also have some art and a chapter to finish up, so there'll be new content for the Fanart in a while if all goes well.

The point of this "update" is only for putting the Meeting dates in the box above. The dates might change over time as the unexpected happens, but they should remain the same until 2009.

The meetings will happen in the first week of the month on Thursday and Friday, alternating each month. The December meeting will happen on Friday, then the January meeting on Thursday and so on. If you notice I made a mistake, please notify me. Thank you.

Mid-week update. Wee.

The rosters of [HHN] and [TRP] are updated.

Tank Tyrant is now listed as a traitor. It turns out he is the kind of player who jumps in Guilds then leave on trivial matters such as his personal taste of capes. Please avoid him.

Grenth's New Helm concepts made by Zman and I are now in the Fanart section. Since the Wintersday 2007 contest ended some days ago, we felt safe to show off our stuff. Honestly I just want to have a high enough winning rank to get that keyboard... there's Eve on it.

Double Faction in Alliance Battles this weekend! Sharpen your blades and wax your staves, we've got Luxons to slaughter!

A month... bleh.

The website now has all the correct Alliance Guilds listed. However only the members of [HHN] and [TRP] have been updated today.

The Elite Hellion Generals now show the Leader/Lord/Lady above the chosen Officers so that Leaders can no longer take a General title for themselves, so all Guilds get to have 5 Officers as Generals.

The link of the Glory Kingdom's website has been updated.

Birthday Art has been added to the Fanart section. The Birthday Art is in chronological order (at least I hope so) so they are not at the bottom of the list. If you don't feel like clicking the Fanart link, you can just click these instead.

The Alliance Meeting in November will be the last one officially held on a Wednesday. The next Meeting dates and hours will be announced in December 2007 in the Forums. Only for Leader and Officer eyes.

Just so you know, the Happy Hellion Nation will never be nominated as Guild of the Week as long as I am in charge of the site and forums. Zman has confirmed I am the worst Webmaster alive. Grand Dragon Generals are now known as Elite Hellion Generals. The previous title was mistaken for a cult title, so to avoid offending anyone else with it, it was simply changed. If you want to know what's the problem with "Grand Dragon" read this. The new title might seem a little bland to some, but at least it will be less confusing to many. Please notify me if there are still Grand Dragons around the website, but ignore the previous News post, I usually don't bother to edit those.

Chapter 27 of the Ascalon Saga is now online! Zman made such a twist that I'll have to review all my ideas to fit with the new flow.

This is only a partial update, all I did was to fix the font codes and update the online rosters.

I'll replace this post once I've really completed the update, there might be some glitches for now.

The Members, Grand Dragon Generals and Allies pages have been updated. Now at least our current Alliance Guilds appear now. However the work is far from being done and it will never truly be.

[JLA], [OoA] and [gk] are in danger to being booted out of the Alliance due to inactivity. If new active Guilds wish to join, these Guilds will be kicked out for new blood, unless they prove they are still active soon.

I'm afraid updates will continue to be minimal and random, my life is not sorted out yet, but it might be if the next event goes well.

Please remember that the Alliance can only be active and entertaining if you cooperate as well, so be nice and helpful Hellions.

Once again I took forever to bring you a new update. Real life gets in the way you know. Oh well.

The Links page was remade a little. I realized without much surprise that there are very few Guild Wars webcomics of decent quality online, so I simply fusionned the Guild Wars and VG columns into a Gaming one. Then I made the Fantasy one to fill the new void, it'll also help you know which comics are more magical than the others. I added other links too, but the most useful one is this site. It's just great.

The [HHN] and [TRP] rosters in the Members page have been updated. Once the page is more complete, I plan to do updates from the Guilds only each month, simply because changing it each time an indecisive new random recruit decides to leave and rejoin and leave would just get aggravating. It's up to the Leaders and Officers to let me know who are in their Guilds, so I'll only be able to truly update if I get help.

A detail I want to mention. From now on I will write your original member name in that page and the Grand Dragon Generals one, simply because I have a small memory and I can't really handle remembering what's the name of that person who appears as a character they never use anymore while offline. So if in the future you want your main picture to be a character beside the one who appears as your original joining name, the name of the character appearing in the picture will be written in small green font over your member name. Not too confusing? Just go look.

I made a slight change to the stories section of the Fanart. Ascalon Saga was split in two to help the loading process. They're just words, but they take forever to appear with a slower connection. Now the Saga will be split each 20 chapters. I also removed the preface and made it a "Read me first." text that you should read before reading the stories. I just thought it would be appropriate to warn you of the questionable content of our writings before you actually read them.

After months of accumulating dust, the Ascalon Saga comes back to life! Chapter 26 is now available. It's entirely my fault, I knew vaguely what to write next, but I just took forever to take the time to sit down and type my mental images into words, then tweak my ideas around when on the screen they felt too cheesy even for me... I'm an horrible procrastinator like 90% of the artists. The other artists in the 10% are rich and getting richer... is that even a word?

I'm aware parts of the site and forums still shows traces of Guilds that left us. Well... the Alliance is still unstable and I would rather update these parts once the dust settles and we're all certain that nobody will leave anytime soon on a whim. Things will be fine soon so don't worry.

My apologies for the sudden mental breakdown I had last Wednesday, everything's back to normal, somewhat. Zman made sure to bring me back to my Administrator position and get me back in the Alliance as soon as he could. However I am no longer an Officer of the HHN Guild, so you cannot ask me to invite a friend or kick a noob out anymore.

Just so you know, I didn't leave the Alliance because of something that happened in the game, in fact I didn't really play GW for several days before it happened. Just that thing called Real Life that got in the way.

I will not bring back the "Updated each Saturday, unless Katt screws up" line. I screwed up too many times already, so what's the point of saying I'll do something a specific day if I never do? I'll just bring back that line once I'm entirely able to respect my own deadline.

Anyway, on brighter news, Happy Birthday Guild Wars!
Just so you know, Hellions are all requested to invade the District 66 if they can so that we can gather up and show off our Hellion Pride... and no Zman I'm not talking about the one in your pants.
